The Basic Online Presence package gives a small business owner everything they need to start gaining an audience online. This includes the setup of a basic WordPress website, email addresses and profiles on some of the most popular social media and social networking sites.

WordPress Website

• Initial Skype or phone consultation (approximately 1 hour).
• Dreamhost hosting and domain name setup.
  • Note: I only use Dreamhost for hosting. Each hosting company is a little different so it is impossible for me to work with all hosts.
• Custom logo creation.
• Installation of WordPress.
  • WordPress Theme Installation.
    • Includes any free theme. Many great options here.
    • Premium theme available for an additional fee. I recommend WooThemes.
    • Custom theme creation available for an additional fee. Contact me for more details.
• Basic search engine optimization for the WordPress site using the “All in One SEO Pack” and “Google XML Sitemaps” plugins. (this makes it easier for Google and other search engines to find your site.)
• Setup of Feedburner to allow visitors to receive updates via email or RSS. Includes RSS redirect plugin setup and sidebar setup.

Google Apps Setup

• Setup of email addresses.
  • Uses the gmail service (eg. name@yourdomain.com)

Social Media Site Setup

• Facebook
  • Facebook Fanpage setup
  • Custom Facebook landing page
• Twitter
  • Profile setup
  • Custom background
• Flickr
  • Profile setup
  • Uploading of first 10 pictures and first set creation
• YouTube
  • Profile setup
  • Uploading of first video.

Final Coaching and Training

• One hour training and consultation on the use of WordPress.
• One hour training and consultation on how to use social media sites.
