The Switched started as an audio podcast in November of 2005 and the focus of the podcast was to highlight independent music and artists. This was in the early days of podcasting and there were not too many artists/bands at that time who knew what podcasting was. I was really trying to carve out a niche, so in March of 2006 I relaunched the podcast as a music video podcast. The podcast continued to focus on independent and unsigned bands or artists. Unfortunately, web video was still an emerging market and it was hard to get bands to submit quality videos at a higher resolution. There are some remnants left at archive.org and revver, but this project has mostly died on the vine.
